Our mission is to build a school in Pau da Lima/Baixa Fria, a shantytown in Salvador, Brazil marked by extreme poverty. Every day, more than 50 impoverished children who do not have access to schools, health care, transportation and identification cards will benefit from the escolinha (small school). The Salvador School Project will aid the Pau da Lima/Biaxa Fria shantytown in developing a self-sustaining community asset that can enrich and empower the lives of both children and adults [more]. |
